Free tools for staying informed

Check a website, follow incidents, and give your community a direct route to current service status.

Can’t find your website?

Run a one-time public website check. This does not create a monitored service page.

Checks run from our US server and measure response headers, not full page load or signed-in features. Results are reused for five minutes. Up to 10 checks per network and 60 shared checks per hour.

Incident feeds for your reader or community

Subscribe to recent service incidents by RSS ↗ or read detailed outage briefs by RSS ↗. Individual service pages offer their own incident feed.

Copy a feed link into your RSS reader. Teams using an RSS integration in Slack or Discord can subscribe there too. Feeds contain recorded incidents; a feed item is not proof of a current outage or a guaranteed instant alert.

Add a status widget to your site

Open a service page and select “Embed status” to copy a small iframe. It shows the latest available provider assessment and observation time, with a link to detailed evidence. No account or API key is required.

Follow the services you use

Save up to ten services in your watchlist. While the watchlist is open, it refreshes every minute. You can opt into browser notifications for status changes while that page stays open.

Share a useful update

Service pages include share links and downloadable status cards. Incident articles include direct sharing. Observation times travel with status cards so readers can distinguish a saved update from live status.
